HISTORY

The building constructed with stones of the hills at the end of the XVII° century use to be an important olives oil-mill of 30 meters long on 15 meters large, on 2 levels, employing a lot of workmen (30 / 50 ) during the season.
We must say that at time, the presses ( 5 ) were in action only because of strong arms and healthy men.
The principal energy putting in action the millstone for squashing the olives was the water from the|"CRAPONNE" canal ( The work of a contemporary gradueted engineer of " NOSTRADAMUS" permitted the irrigation of the "Crau" and of the country side of |"Salon de Provence".

During the last world war, this house served as quarters for french troops.
(we can still see some drawings relating this period)
The |"mill" will be dismantled early 1900, it will shelter a still around the fifties and deserted afterwards.
Around 1970, a retailer of electric domestic appliances of Salon de Provence also used the house for stocking his goods.
We acquired the "mill" in 1973

A guest-house different, arranged in an old olive oil-mill of the end of the XVII° century.

Our "mill" offers you 3 rooms that looks out on the garden as on the swimming-pool and the terraced solarium.

THE HOUSE and THE ROOMS

The first floor is where we have the pleasure to receive our visitors.
A common space equipped with a TV place, a reading-space and all informations for walk, and sight-seeing giving on to 3 confortables rooms climatised.
All the rooms look out on the gardens and open on directly to the swimming-pool (5,50m x 5,00m x 1,80m ) with a terraced solarium.

Ous 3 rooms are equipped with :

N° 1 : 1 double bed - private toilets - shower room - mini refrigerator
N° 2 : 1 double bed + 1 single bed - private toilets - bath and shower - refrigerator
N° 3 : 2 single bed - private toilets - shower room - mini refrigerator
